My Review Of Rajnikanth's LINGAA.!!

LINGAA, The latest rajnikanth film aired today. Wanted to see that from the day it got released. Because of the negative reviews and the bad collection at the box office, it has been proven that any superstar can make mistake while choosing a film. Why LINGAA failed to do justice at the box office as well as in the people's heart is the criticial issue one can have a long debate on. Rajnikanth could not create the magic because the story has lacks in the say.

Firstly, The man who is falsely accused of cheating people can prove his innocence in front of them. (Maybe not in the real life, but in the film at least!!! ;)). He cannot just walk away like that. Secondly, the superstar like him cannot be a rusty loafer who wants to dig in the small money for the happiness. His career span has the limit of playing the roles. He is the finest veteran actor but in a single film he cannot become a hero and a lafanga in a double avtaar. He could be a bus driver or a rickshaw driver. The story is the only part when the director could have done justice. but being a thief is not his part of justice to the role he was offered.

Just like every other big budget south indian cinema, this was also full of melodrama and action thrills. Cinematography, the actions performed on the train, the shots with the vintage cars etc were fully enjoyable. The other lacking point is the presence of the great KHAMOSH girl, Sonakshi sinha. How can she be a heroine of the great rajnikanth?? Anushka shetty's part was very well versed. The scenes shot inside and outside the palace were superbly classy and massy. Overall this was an average film with the golden touch of the great superstar. But must have been justiced good. COOOL!!!!

Happy Birthday India. :)

INDIA, The name is indeed special to all the people who are proud of their country because of the diversity it hands, the happiness of living with the lovely people irrespective of the religion they follow etc. Don't you think that we are the most powerful country in terms of the religion and the independence?? If i talk about the second word that i just mentioned, it is disrespectful to talk about that in two or more lines since many of our forefathers and brave people lost their lives only to make this country free out of english people. Its been 68 years of independence in the country followed by the loss of the great men who were the stone feet in the structural empowerment of the india when it was idealized as an independent country in 1947. But i am proud of the time when i can just make my mind think of those glorious moments when people had celebrated the triumph of being free. Just makes me feel the away when a little boy/girl eagerly waiting to play with the toy gets one by his/her parents.

Besides the idea of the free nation on basis of independece and democracy which are the mainstream ideas of our country (Could be the ONLY idea of the country maybe!!! :)), are people really happy with the nation's growth and the scenarios being shown in the different parts of india? Just before a day, the monsoon session of the parliament was washed out because of the rigid behavior of the rulling party and the childish request of the opposition of getting the three so called convicted people off the seat they won during the lok sabha election. I have my own strct opinion that the assembly should not work in this way. I have heard my father saying that the other developed countries have the same problem of messing up the parliament session every now and then. But so what we should also do that? The only rule of successful government ethics is to just serve the country of the people who have sent their respective candidates to the temple of democracy in the capital. May be that is the only place from where the happiness of the forthcoming generations will be coming.

I firmly believe that for some little time every indian must need to think about the nation hence the juxtaposition of happiness, love, gratitude, trust, social awareness can be fulfilled and be felt.

Wishing you all a very happy independence day. Its because we are standing here since somebody has harmed their feet for the independence back in time. Jai hind. Vande Mataram!!!!

"I've Got Poker Face"

What is the disadvantage of being a film-making student is you can't enjoy the movie the way every other person sees it who are unaware of the technical aspects of the movie-making process. What i think when i see any script making progress over the 70 mm screen is what would i have done if i would have directed or written this scene? This sounds too creative OR classy but in a moment you just lose the grip to the streaming scenes of magic(Only if that is really amazing!!! ;)). In the past, i've come across these types of situations when i had to approach the friend sitting besides me for what i lost. You just need to careful. Talking about what i learnt is that Every movie teaches you a little thing. Remembering the times when i was at my first grade of diploma in editing and film direction in whistling woods international, Mumbai where i had to go through a writing (Was ever called a writing module but we ended up "listening" to the expert for around 75 minutes!.!.!) module under the guidance of the very popular film-writer Mr. Anjum Rajabali. There was a special class for the students like me who were pursuing their diploma courses in the distance education scheme since they are not supposed to attend every lecture that is given away by experts every weekend. Primarily was very excited when he started vocalizing his thoughts. You know they have immense knowledge residing in them when they start delivering it. His vocals were tremendously well-spoken and were truly bang on. Just like a mother who knows how to feed her baby and to know what will make him/her happy OR unhappy. That is where i came to conclusion when you get fascinated by the man who is utterly splendid speaker, you are somewhere misguiding yourself for not being one. That is what i learnt. That is what i had to digest. As they say It is disastrous to be dishonest towrds your ownslef. Sometimes people don't know what they are doing OR what they're supposed to do.

Lastly at the end he said,"Remember, We don't make movies. We just make any random person speaking being any other random person." This simple line has just vanished the idea of making a eye catching movie from my dreams. That has taught me if i have done it with whole heart then it would surely be an eye catcher. More on this will be coming as the next emotions come over the sharing prompter. Happy Movie-Making!.!.!.!
